We attended the 1pm show on Sunday the 17th.

We thought the show was excellent. My son is going into musical theatre in college next year and he thoroughly enjoyed it. We thought the set was fabulous and the steps coming out of the side of the wall was very cool!!! We sat in the F row in the orchestra section so the chandelier was right over head!! The costumes were beautiful!! The thing I didn't like was the family sitting next to me. The mom talked to her daughter (about age 6-7) through a lot of the first part. The little girl would ask a question and then the mom would answer her. They were pointing and behaving like they were at a movie. THEN the little girl started eating a snack with CRINKLY plastic. I'm all for including children into the arts but I paid $151 for my seat and I did NOT appreciate their behavior. When did it become okay for people to encourage talking during the show and eating noisy food? This is not an isolated incident with people at shows. My son was in a show at Divine Savior Holy Angels in the fall and some older women sitting behind us (toward the front seats) "narrated" through the whole show. I digress but this detracts from the incredible show in front of us.
